got the smaller toro started so i would have two blowers ready for snow then went for a ride

I added a small gear to the mixture screws so I can turn the screw with a sharp pointed tool like a flat bladed screwdriver. Painted 1/2 black to keep track of how much it turned per poke.

i'm going to add one more net light to close the gaps in the hedges and put a strand of gold lights below the mailbox, didn't know about the gieco commercial its just something me and my sisters have always done

We didn't do lights outside this year. Usually we light the eaves and 2 trees and stake in 2 lighted reindeer, and maybe a bear but this year none of us got in the mood to put them out. We did decorate inside though.

Bike work is put on hold. Sonya's Mom is coming over for Xmas eave and have to prepare the exercise room for her. Time to clean up anyway for a good start after Xmas.

Day 10 of Quarantine , got tested positive on Dec. 13th, weather's been pretty sheety around here for those 10 days , been out to the garage a couple days for a short time just to blow the stink off

Started to remove starter on the Interstate. Time for a rebuild.... Removing crash guards and dropping the exhaust. I wish Santa would bring me a bike lift for Xmas. Getting down to lay on the garage floor is not quite as easy as it was a few decades ago. Getting up is a whole other story. Well the exercise is probably good for me.

I can't imagine doing this work without a lift! My latest purchase was an '83 interstate sitting on a lift, so now I have two. Of course being a flat surface I just pile stuff on it (like all the parts I just took off the interstate on the other lift) with a bike sitting in the middle of it all. Some days I swear to clean up the mess and other days I just make more confusion.

A fellow out here was getting out of riding because the Mrs could no longer ride with him. Got an excellent deal on a lift. Have a Big Blue lift that takes the bike some 30 inches off the floor measured under the engine. Was going to make some blocks for under the wheels for stability but this lift came along, so it collects a lot of dust:

Can easily work around the lift when the bike is up.

As for the topic. Just cleaning up the garage for Xmas. Found a motor mount bolt that I had just replaced. Probably find a few more items as I clean up.
