Since selling the Slug, I have only been going through my extra parts boxes and working on getting ready to sell of any parts worth selling (or giving away). The rest of my time has been spent keeping this 67 year old girl running! Had the engine overhauled last year and I completed a full conversion from a 6 volt system to a 12 volt system including a complete rewiring of the entire system.

Of course, I had to create a new one line diagram to follow my new wiring:

I feel sorry for everyone that lives up North. I'd hate to live somewhere where I couldn't ride all year around.

For me, winterizing means making sure the anti-freeze is good and wearing warmer clothing to ride.

Please don't feel sorry for us. I can (if I choose) ride 12 months a year. When I was younger, my CB 750 was my only vehicle for over two years, in Boston, commuting 40 miles round trip daily. Now that I'm older, I'm a little bit pickier about the weather, but still can ride any time. And since I'm retired, I can go where it's warmer if I want to. The Wing does go on the maintainer and it runs fine with Sta-bil in its veins. I'll drag it out on good days:cool:
Peace
