May be azgl was having trouble finding my video's so I thought it the least I could do to help him out by posting them again here....

Specs:
1 barrel Solex on top of a Type 4 manifold with a 1 to 2 adaptor, home made 1 inch runners, C5 ignition. Engine is otherwise a stock 1984 GL1200 in a 1983 GL1100 frame and driveline.

Yes yes, I know. CM announced to everyone that 1" runners are too small and the 1 to 2 adaptor is way too restrictive.......hmmm....surprising it even runs, right?
Just goes to show what can be done if you just do it :hihihi:

I been playing with Sony Vegas doing some edits, the first video is highlights of video 1:

I don't know. They deleted my posts pretty quick. And I wasn't calling him any names.

I think pdbro just summed up the best I've ever read to explain us, compared to the Saunders scc threads........

"bottom line for scc on this (or bottom line on any) site is you reap what you sow,

no question in my mind that scc stayed/stalled out here on a mostly singular view, then took off elsewhere to another level and opened up a whole new set of easier options for scc and others

sorta like 'it's like this' vs 'let's try this,' closed minded and fixed vs open and new, secretive vs free flow of info"

Wow Dan. This would be a lot of work, but I wonder what some smaller exhaust header pipes, like the 1500's, would do to your bike's performance. I had a pair chopped up to try on mine, but like lots of my "experiments" they get lost in the garage.

we have a member here ...who has made several manifolds ...great jobs ...one was copper with heat and a smaller plenum ....his original manifold was a type 4 deal that eventually got to grab bar runners ,,,and i think for awhile it had the 2 to 1 transition piece ....he tried everything he made ...and now is using the type 4 with no transition piece and grab bar runners ... dose have the tupe 4 closed in on the bottom and welded up and was actually together working and before cm85 even hook his up ...though he paid to have his fabricated long before..it was long time before he hooked it up ....cm made many post at one time claiming heat not needed so i havnt hooked it up ....well our member did and in the end his bike is very simular to the cm85 and he likes it ...and that bike is a classic build

this is not a heat verse no heat ..nor a contest where heat is better than no heat....vacume is required for a cv carb ...without it the carb wont work....cm seems to think this about heat and oldwing set ups ....the dan vid proves its just not so ...plain and simple ....but that dosnt mean no heat is best either or the only way ....so here at classic we are not simply left or right handed ...we are amadextrious....we can use both ways to get a job done ....both hands work together as it is known and excepted both work well ...so in builds locations ...how bike is set up ... all things play in .....this is not a comy dictatorship of some self choosen guru of all

when it comes to cm ... he a bent wrench and can not wrench with others unless done his way .....he has no buisness trying to keep others from using there wrenches .....he needs to relizse his wrench are made by tonka ....and he needs to shed his pull ups ... shut up ...get some real wrenches and try to play with boys ...in a way he wont get his mouth slamed shut ...like whats happening now ...when you discount big boys plain and simple ...i could care less what google thinks ...the people that run that place are probably just like you the worse humanity has to offer for everyone to see how not to be ...to be a fuitful life with many rewards ... not a spoiled rotten brat where paridise would not be good enough unless you could control it .... sheesh what fruitless thinking turdlife...plain and simple

Joe I think cm is the problem, there are good folks over there. Let's not lump them all together, cm does that.

~O~
Agreed!

hmmm i thought it was directly pointed at cm ...i certainly didnt want to traget anybody else but him in that post randy ..i know my words dont always look to others as they do me ...

CM85 is a mouth not a wrench ... he can only sit on the bench in a real game ...and he can only fool others not real wrenches who know how to play the game ..cm a bench warmer with an attitude and no skills to play

cm85 is famous for all the wrong reasons. When it come to theory he jumps past the basics and goes to the big math equations which he cannot understand or explain. Whatever ideas he may have that could possibly help anyone he hides. He boasts of big things yet proves absolutely nothing. Aside from his ignorance of the subject. He jumped the gun and tried to produce a single carb kit that had failed welds and carbs that didn't perform properly. He is demeaning and arrogant toward anyone with a valid question or point that may contradict him. If the goldwing community had a position for village idiot. I think he has all the qualifications.

Lol, I bet cm is appreciating all the attention but as long as these posts are here and at Saunders, I don't see how he can get away with his acts. Google turns up a lot of negative about him.

On a different note, he said he gets 18-20 mpg on his build.
Riding like he does in that video, I have to wonder why it's so low?
The plugs gotta be black with sooty build up and fouling often from over rich gees.
Mine when it was getting just 33 mpg were black and now at 42-43 they are looking good but still not completely clean.

Cracking welds and terrible fuel mileage, would you buy one of his builds or copy it?
I sure wouldn't when home builds like we have here are doing so much better!

Evidently azgl and cm figure giving the real questions at hand the silent treatment will make everything ok.
Well I have news for you both, you have shown your true colors to everyone that's read this thread here and on Saunders and it has taken a severe toll on both your characters, very unbecoming of the reputation Steve Saunders had built up for that forum.
I have a lot of respect for Steve Saunders but both of you have managed to cut him to pieces with your actions (and lack of) on that forum.

Shame on you both. Shame, Shame.
