Can't imagine how nice it would feel to ride along the beach in warm weather. Well, I can imagine it.

Brian, you have experienced what I went through. The oem honda plunger was too long for the Mc body so the release port (return port) didn't get uncovered. Proved this with measurements. The fix was putting the piston in the lathe and taking 1/16" off each end. Has worked perfect since then, 2 years I think.

. The Key fits ALL the locks, and turns the Ign. it has the normal issues after sitting a few years, the cables are VERY "stiff" the choke cable is frozen, the gas tank Looks pretty clean ,and empty , so I'm hoping the Carbs aren't to bad ?
DUH...lol you are right,,,No clutch lever just flops... throttle cable VERY stiff.[url=https://classicgoldwings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=186524#p186524:23zum53r said:brianinpa » less than a minute ago[/url]":23zum53r]

The 1200 has a hydraulic clutch, so if it is stuck, it isn't a cable issue.

CHOKE cable might not be stuck as it seems. 1200 carbs have enricheners on every carb connected by linkage moved by that cable. On my 84 the linkage is a frequent issue. I would encourage you to flush and bleed the clutch actuator. A working clutch is a great thing.
