Thanks for the compliments.

In about another five years, I'll finally have a yard I'm proud of.

Nice Job, Saga!

A week and a half ago, I was down in Calhoun, Georgia on an assignment that got fouled up on account that my delivery trucks from Mississippi arrived 14 hours late...

Well, on Sunday I was in Germantown, Wisconsin to do the same thing, and the weather was beautiful... but wouldn'tcha know it... the trucks that were supposed to arrive Sunday evening hadn't called me for delivery instructions... because they were STILL IN MISSISSIPPI, and hadn't been loaded yet. They arrived on Tuesday, 4pm, so my team, my crane, and I worked in cold, rain, wind, and dark 'till 1:30am Wednesday. I showered, slept 'till 6:30am, was back onsite at 7:30am, trained groups of 4 every hour, on the hour, 'till 5:15, then drove home... arrived at 9:30pm...

We have plenty to be thankful for, so I'm being thankful, and holding my tounge with respect those who did not heed my requests for verification...

But today, Drummer Bill and I met at the shop, where we unloaded the freshly-rebuilt Buick 455... and we're about ready to pull the truck's current 455, and drop in the new one. Should be able to knock it out completely tomorrow, and drive it home on Sunday.

Started cleaning out the garage and doing winterization. A week ago, there was no snow. Now there is far too much.

The CM400E and Goldwing have older batteries and I was unable to start either. I'm going to try jumping them today - I don't think they are turning over fast enough.

My wife's Ninja has a newer battery and I was able to get that running. Let it idle about 20 minutes to get the fuel stabilizer in the carbs, then turned it of and plugged it into the battery tender. Even lucked out - a battery tender pigtail was tucked under the seat.

Fuel stabilizer added, all tanks topped off with a gas can, and all batteries on a tender.

Weather is a nice sunny 35F. Would have almost taken out a motorcycle for a neighborhood cruise if the streets weren't filled with ice and salt.

Think I'm done for the year. Dropping insurance on all the motorcycles until Marchish.

Now I have to get the truck out and topped off.

Purchased a 2002 Ford Focus SE wagon. This little car will be taking the place of my Tag A Long trailer for transporting my tools and paint back and forth to the yard where I work on my boat. This is the first big step to getting the "Slug" and her trailer ready for sale.

First up for the "Slug" is the clean, prime and paint the tank, side covers and fenders. Then decals and new emblems.

Just be careful checking the thermo fan as it was a Focus that bit me Gerry!

Lesson learned! Thanks Tony!

Picked up sharpened chain and a new one for the chain saw. A grey, rainy day so I decided to just mount the sharpened chain and put the saw aside for another day. Yesterday I cut up a dead fall and hauled it to a neighbor. Started on another that blew down this summer, but only got about half through it when the chain got too dull to go any further. I'll attack them again next week. Tomorrow we have a work day at church and then go to Johnson University for their Festival of Christmas Joy. We have been invited for decades, and finally shoul be able to make it.

Looks nice William. I dread doing lights to be honest.
+1 :good: :head bang:

It was actually yesterday (Saturday) and I managed to get my hand in a leather glove and rode the Rats Nest to Springwood for coffee/tea with the VJMC members. :good:
