Why didn't you ride it home William?
a few months ago i wanted to put a better front tire on it but the tire was too big. every time i tried to put the old tire back on it would trigger vertigo so my buddy took the IceBear to his shop and installed the tire, by then the brake pads had popped out to so he reinstalled them too. i just stopped in to hang out with the guy's for a few hours, i didn't know the bike was ready so we loaded it in the van and it was a good thing we did cause it started raining just as i pulled in front of my house

We went on a nice 90 mile fall foliage ride on the back roads of Wayne and Holmes county in NE Ohio. Beautiful. Had lunch with some family then headed back home. It was a gorgeous day to be out.

Not today, but yesterday and the day before. Yesterday a 150 mile loop (in the RV, not on the Wing😞). Same for a 300 mile loop the day before. The colors are really fantastic this year. Yesterday was southern Maine, day before was central New Hampshire and Vermont. Mostly back roads. Gotta get at least one more good ride on the Wing before winter.

Put the old girl to bed for the winter after a short (22 miles), but exuberant ride. I had her up for sale, but got no business. One guy was really interested, but could never manage to get here.
Life goes on; everything else is good.

Went for a leaf peepin ride today only 113 mile but my riding buddy is 96 and that's all he can handle which in my books is quite alot for a 96 yr old. The leaves were really dull, but was still a good day for a ride for this time of year in N.Western, Pa.

Wow, 96 and still riding!? Love it. There is hope for the rest of us.

A few days late to post, but I rebuilt my forks this past Wednesday and finally took my bike on a short ride! Need to adjust the forks in the trees, as the air system isn't sealing, but not bad otherwise!

No fuel leaks anymore, it's clean, and sounds just fine.

But the battery gave up the ghost.

Dangit.

Put the bikes into hibernation this weekend. Got to ride later than a typical year, 3 or 4 days in November. Added Stabil to the gas, filled the tank, ran the carbs dry, and put the batteries on tenders. A melancholy weekend.

Went on one last 2up lunch run with my wife today. It was cloudy, cool, and damp on NE Ohio but well worth it. 120 miles round trip. Time to change the oil, clean her up, and let her sleep for a bit. I never really put the bikes away, I just let them sleep. If we get a nice day I can get them out with a few minutes of prep.

Still working out the bugs with my stubborn Wing. I've had headlight dimming for a little while, and I checked the stator output, which is fine (thank God!), so I was at a loss. Well, sometime in the last week or so my rear brake light switch failed, followed by my front switch yesterday. I've got new ones coming, but this Wing is really stubborn!

I'll win though, I'm more stubborn.
