Bike parts all over the floor. Luggage parts before the nights over. Weather is perfect front door is open. Have a great weekend. :rocks: :music: :laptop:

I got to run a few errands on her today before I had to get busy mowing the lawn, yes that's right, it's been so mild here the grass is rediculous! I ordered a Speedo drive unit today so I can get my Speedo working again!

I put 12 hrs in the bike today working on the wiring. This 76 harness has like new ends on it @ the connector. Shiny copper ends. The harness came with a none butchered end. Its almost plug and play. I found a couple exposed wires and one that was going to break (in the bike wiring). Shrink tubing and the solder gun all day. I think the wiring came out nice. I will finish it up tomorrow and get the fairing horns working too. :laptop: :lazy:

Wait until ya hafta replace the ones in the instrument panel. Forget just how many, with 2 or 3 sizes, about $50, & a real cluster f--k to get to just for bulbs.
That's why ya do them all when there! Was sort of surprised at the number, & price. :headscratch: Used O E M's mostly because @ 140'000+, most of em still worked! :good:
Got my new grab handle mounted, & found the ride bell to mount, after getting the newspaper jammed into the snowblower. Stopped it dead, & took about 30 min to get unjammed. :head bang:

That sucks I like to look at snow from here But I had this happen to me once in UP state NY> blower quit @ the bottom of the drive.. :head bang:

Yea day was going so well. Got trunk reattached to the old grab handle, the way it was when I got the bike. :clapping: Can switch grabhandles now, trunk with the passenger's back rest on one, & clean sleek look with other. Have a question, old grabhandle was welded on left side, just forward of joint where grabhandle pieces come together & it gets level, by rear mounting bolt. The right side, has been SAWED through, just above where joint ends on top side!!! :head bang: Maybe to keep from breaking again??? :headscratch: Any opinions or ideas why, would any body would do such a thing? Bike has had pretty good care for most of its life, from all indications.

Sorry, don't know how to post pics

got out in shop-today,put body panels on. :music:

Just getting started on mine. Most of the parts are here...now the work begins. Gonna pull the forks and replace the bearings. New tires...will be replacing front wheel bearings too. I'm going to have to pull the carbs to fix the bad accel. pump diaphragm so I got a full rebuild kit.

Today was a bit warmer (unheated garage) so I started by taking the gauges off. I have the windshield off so it wasn't too bad .....then I realized that I'm going to pull the fairing so I guess I should have done that first! I'll be bringing the fenders, bags, rack etc inside so I can clean them before they go back on.
