Took the wing out to check for leaks after the water pump repair and take advantage of the wonderful weather.

very nice

I've been too lazy to install an accessory fuse block on the GSA or the Mighty ST 1300. I was having trouble connecting the terminals for the heated gear, battery tender, and the GPS to the battery post so while out yesterday picked up some studs that are about 1/4 inch longer to replace the battery bolts and a couple nuts so I could tighten everything down. got them installed about an hour ago then put the battery tender jr on the GSA. i'll replace the battery bolt on the Mighty ST 1300 tomorrow

Yesterday: Mulching. The mulch quality isn't great, but it is free from the county.

One pickup load doesn't go as far as you'd think. Gotta get another pickup load tomorrow.

The harder you can get her to hit the PT, (within doctor's reason) the faster it goes. Get her to take advantage of pain meds for the PT.

48 degrees this morning, so fall is in full swing.

Prepped the 84I, the 85I, and the 86A trike for storage (got them warm, Stabil in the gas tanks, added a couple gallons of fresh gas to each one, pulled their batteries), and put them in the lean-to beside the garage. I also put the 2 teardrop campers in the lean-to, so it is full with the Gl1000, an 84I parts bike, an 85 Fiero, a riding mower, some power tools, bicycles, and the above machines.

The Gl1500 is setting in the regular garage waiting for it's winter cleanup, then it gets the battery removed, Stabil, fresh gas, and the full body cover to keep it clean during the winter.

I charge the batteries monthly to keep them fresh for the spring. They are setting on wood, so they stay pretty much fully charged all the time. I've had one AGM battery for at least 6 years and it still starts the bike like it was new. I'm lucky to get 3 years out of the Walmart lead-acid batteries.

Time to hibernate, I guess.

a few weeks ago I talked about sleeping really rough, I slept so rough that my foot got caught up in the covers and though I've been on a few short rides I've also been back to medical at work because of my issue. the doctor is sending me back to the specialist asap, I think I might have re-broken my foot when it got tangled in the covers

I'm holding out. Was 70 in Minneapolis today. Going to snow this weekend, and then have highs in the 40s until the middle of next week. But our average high for about this time of year is in the mid 50s, which is still riding weather if you are determined.

Did make it out to the Honda dealer today for some replacement parts. As I was leaving, saw someone pull up on a CB100. Judging by Google, 1972. Then hit the river roads, both sides of the Mississippi, and saw a bunch more bikes, including two with sidecars (looked like Urals, but I couldn't pay too much attention).

I usually ride until the bikes are hard to start, 50f just means i'm taking the heated jacket liner and a warmer pair of gloves

Ah yes. The trail 70. Remember them well.

Weather is getting nice in Phoenix now. Rode the 78 to work today. Also installed the plate that I've been waiting for for a month. Finally came in the mail today.

I know this didn't exactly happen today, but this was the soonest I could get it here. I have not posted in a while as I had bee prepping for a 35th High School Reunion. Closed my shop for the last 5 days of September to do the trip, and have been catching up on work for the3 last 10 days, lol! Went to Richmond, Jamestown, and Williamsburg. Also bought another antique in Richmond, but I have to go back soon to pick it up with a trailer.
