William, I believe you and I are only a few days apart in age; I turned 61 on Sunday. I spent the entire afternoon in the sun (hot & humid) mixing and pouring cement. Many around me say if I'm not committed, I should be. Happy birthday.

Tightened the head bearings on the '79 (about a half turn). Yesterday I got over two turns on the '78 rescue. Thought I had seated them well, but... That front end ought to feel much better now! First job today was to mow about an acre and a half and cut down eight privet hedges that had grown out of hand in the last thirty or so years since I planted them.

Got the rust off of the bottom of my RD400c frame. The rust had been painted over which is all wrong, but at least it wasn't deep or extensive. Hitting it with etching primer to prevent flash rust, but ran out so that is it for today. More primer comes tomorrow.
