Finally got the '72 Triumph Trident T150V starting reliably. This is my latest rescue, and I wanted to get it starting well so it can be sold and give me room to start on the '75 GL1000. Not enjoyable for me to ride with right side shift, left side brake.

I finally got around to replacing my right mirror, due to a minor drop. She's been sitting for over a month, and fired up instantly. I had a little gas smell, then noticed a puddle on the floor. Main fuel line from the pump had a tiny split, so I replaced that too.

The Kaw came home today. I rode Vince's Kaw down to visit Hanni today. First time it's been back to Wintersville since I trucked it home to start working on it. I've been riding it since last season (5000 miles so far) but prefer the Wing on the highway. I put new intake manifolds on the Kaw last weekend and now it's finally running perfectly. Took the long way home....made it a 120 mile round trip.

Nice. Did you put the shield and bags on it? I rode one of his Kawasaki's from his place to Joes, don't remember it having either.

Yes. They were in the massive pile of parts that he had accumulated.

A bit buzzy. 5000 rpm at 70 mph. Chain and sprockets are in good shape now. When they need replaced I'll switch from 630 to 530 chain and drop the gearing down

Yep that's the one! Think I spent 12 hours or better on that seat that day. Surprised I did it but I slept real good that night!

spent six hours at henry's this morning then came home and relaxed for a couple hours. ate the last half of my breakfast sandwich before going out and giving the IceBear its first oil change and installing the black '79 license plate. once done with that i took a short ride

the old gas tank was full of rust, i cleaned it three times and the third cleaning revealed a pin hole in it so i ordered a new plastic fuel tank for it. the new tank arrived late yesterday, i had no time to install it seeing i was heading out in the Stang. got out this morning and got the new tank installed, just a short ride down the block to make sure everything was ok

It's been a month since my GW moved, so I took it out for a short run today. I only went 26 miles round trip, but at least I blew some of the cobwebs out. She started instantly, and ran really well after short warmup. Can't go so long next time, but next time will probably be the Sta-bil ride, then, hhhhhhhhh! winter . Next year I'll ride more.

Did the PT for my separated left AC joint. Getting near 100% range of motion, now need to work on strengthening the muscles around it. That was from a trip over the hood of a Nissan that pulled in front of my RD400c (luckily at only ~25 mph).

Checked out how I can get the '75 GL1000 out of the shed and up to the garage. There is a slight up-hill gravel and then a rather steep up-hill concrete area that it has to cross. Plan to use the wife's Mule winch for motive force. Once up to the drive things are fairly flat, and I should be able to roll it Ok. Looking forward to getting it in the garage so rescue/restore can start. This bike is one Pistol Pete Boody had picked up for a project before he passed. Picked up a complete headlight bucket at the Barber swap meet for it.

Finished wiring the COP units for my ECU project. Checked timing and started engine, runs quite well. Fuel and ignition now operating in sequential mode.

Could not let such a fantastic day go to waste. Short easygoing road trip with Bridge97, who lives about 20 miles from me. After that I gassed up and put Stabil in the tank. Today was 70s, tomorrow is forecast low 50s. I used to ride year round, then I got old. If we have some decent weather, I can always get more Stabil.
