She saved me from myself... Between her and my 2 dogs she was my everything... 2 of my loves now taken....

So... I was really excited about getting the 1200 home. But that has been sadly soured.
A couple of posts back, I had said goodbye to a friend... My female akita. Life is sometimes very cruel.
On Wednesday, my beloved love of my life, my wife was also taken from me.
I am devastated. Heartbroken. May you rest in peace my love.

I am sure that she leaves you with many, many happy memories to hold to through this time of grief.

Hey everyone. Thank you for condolences. Apart from losing my dog 2 weeks ago... I haven't experienced a loss like this before. It's a double whammy for me.
So today we prepared an area for a service.. Memorial type thing as my wife did not want a funeral as such...
Im keeping busy... Today I pulled the carbs from the 1200...that was interesting... Completely stripped and kept separate as well... Learnt with my last efforts.
A lot of green in the 2 & 4 carbs... Fuel left in bowls.. On side stand. Tomorrow all parts should be gleaming once again...

Started cleaning process... I went to order the kit from randakks. $114US. That's cool... $127 in shipping!! Yeah... Nah... Don't think so... Not for those.

i want to spend more time on my Wing so i replaced the Silver Star head light bulbs with F2's, i have them in the Mighty ST 1300 also

Finally finished cleaning and assembling the 1200 carbs. I'm now just waiting on the gasket sets and replacement diaphrams to arrive

Now that my gift horse has its new belts, I've begun to learn how to handle it. I took it to a mostly empty mall parking lot to practice low speed turns. I'm having a real problem with my size 13s trying to get used to the heel toe shifter. Other than that I love the bike.

yesterday i had no plan to go riding, i drove the Mustang to go pick up Mom. we drove down to Port Clinton, OH and had lunch at the Jolly Rodger plus a visit to the lighthouse
